We’re delighted to announce that our annual event, THIS Space, will be held entirely online on 25 November 2020 – save the date!
THIS Space aims to build the field of healthcare improvement studies, and that’s more important now than ever. This year, the event will be open to everyone, including researchers, patients, carers, NHS staff and anyone with an interest in what we do, and will be free to attend.
We hope that, in the current challenges raised by COVID-19, the online format will allow us to gather, connect and share ideas however the situation unfolds. We’re putting a lot of thought into making our event as accessible and interactive as possible.
THIS Space aims to:
- provide a focus for knowledge sharing in healthcare improvement - stimulate innovation and fresh thinking
- help researchers to develop the habits, knowledge, skills, and experiences to support their professional growth
- connect colleagues from across different disciplines who share a common goal
- be a means of accelerating the development of the field of the study of healthcare.
A benefit of going virtual is the opportunity to grow our community. THIS Space aims to connect people from a wide variety of backgrounds who are united by a common goal: a commitment to strengthening the evidence base for improving the quality and safety of healthcare.
